Masked Aadhaar Card Meaning is Privacy-enhanced card. In a masked Aadhaar card, the first eight digits of the Aadhaar number are hidden, and only the last four are shown. The masked Aadhaar card still contains the cardholder’s name, date of birth, gender, address, and QR code.

A masked Aadhaar download online by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/

Step 2: Under the “My Aadhaar” section, scroll below the homepage and click “Download Aadhaar”.

Step 3: In the new window, select the Aadhaar card from the three options, namely Aadhaar Number, Enrolment ID Number, and Virtual ID Number, since we will be downloading the masked Aadhaar card.

Step 4: Click on send OTP after entering the details, including the Aadhaar card and captcha.

Step 5: After this step, click on the option to get a masked Aadhaar.

Step 6: Click on verify and download after entering the OTP you received on your registered mobile number.

Step 7: You will be able to download your Masked Aadhaar.

Step 8: After successful verification, a confirmation message will appear on your screen indicating that your Masked Aadhaar card is ready.

• It will automatically download to the default location on your device.
• You can choose to save it to a different location if desired.

Step 9: To access your Masked Aadhaar, locate the downloaded PDF file on your device. A password prompt will appear when you open the file.

• Enter your password, which consists of the first four letters of your name (as it appears on your Aadhaar card) followed by your year of birth (e.g., RAHUL1990).
• Click “Open” to view and use your Masked Aadhaar card after entering the correct password.

Note: A masked Aadhaar will be downloaded in PDF format. To open the file, you’ll need a password. It’s usually the first four letters of your name followed by the year you were born. If you are named Arjun and born in 1990, the password is Arjun1990.

• Sign In: Log in with your mobile number, username, or Aadhaar number.
• Issued Documents: The “Issued Documents” section can be found there.
• Download Masked Aadhaar: Click “Save” to download your masked Aadhaar.
